Sophie Kemp is a Brooklyn-based writer, originally from Schenectady, New York. She graduated from Oberlin College in the spring of 2018 with degrees in Comparative Literature and French. Her main writing beats are music (punk rock, psych, experimental), and fashion (especially if it’s kitschy), but she really will write for you about anything. Her opinions on these things have appeared in Pitchfork, the Outline, VICE, and more. Currently, she works at Vogue, where she is a news writer and is the assistant to the magazine’s creative director, Sally Singer.

She is available for additional freelance opportunities right now, but only if they are for cold, hard cash.
